Misfits - The Devil's Rain [2011]

Despues de tantos años el gordo de Jerry Only de animo a sacar un disco de larga duracion (un LP) ... obviamente Misfits ya no es lo que era antes hace años ahora es como escuchar a otra banda, pasando de la explocion de sus canciones en la era Danzig y posteriormente Graves a algo mas pasivo y con una monotonia que no produce esa sensacion de extasis, al final igual estan viejos los wnes o no?

Misfits en lo personal paso a ser una banda que por mas que trate de resucitar y permanecer viva nunca sera ni en lo mas minimo parecida a las epocas anteriores ni tampoco lograran acercarse a ello. El disco no me llena para nada pensando en que es Misfits! ... Only? nada que decir :c

Descarguen y escuchenlo ... creo que a la mayoria (si es que no a todos) nos provoca esa sensacion de vacio y angustia por Misfits ... seria la raja ver una reunion de quiene fueron mas significativos (y quiene pasaron mas desapersibidos) en esta gran banda ... es lindo soñar :)

Algun dia me dare la paja de subir los discos de los papis, pasando por los EP, LP, Singles, Rarezas, Demos, etc..

Legacy

Legacy es una banda de Horror Punk nacida en el año 2007. Fué formada por Gustavo Guerra y Jorge Fernández. Gustavo había sido Guitarrista en algunas bandas de la ciudad de Bogotá y Jorge tenía experiencia como baterista y Vocal en otras bandas locales.

La idea al comienzo fue formar una banda Tributo a The Misfits, por ser la principal influencia Horror Punk de sus integrantes, pero con el paso de ...l Tiempo comenzamos a hacer canciones propias basadas en todo el espectro Horror Punk, la sangre, las tripas y los zombies.

Seguidamente, llegó Andrés Gaviria a tocar el Bajo y Santiago Pinto como baterista. Con esta formación se creo el sonido básico característico de Legacy.

En Mayo de 2008, la banda fue invitada a abrir el concierto de MISFITS en la ciudad de Bogotá, fue la primera vez que la banda salía de Cali y allí se presentó a Rafael Orejuela como nuevo baterista. Con esta formación se le dió más poder y fuerza al sonido de la banda.

En el 2008, la banda tuvo la oportunidad de participar en Festivales importantes como el Cali Underground y de la misma manera, visitó la ciudad de Medellín por primera vez.

A mediados del 2008 la banda estuvo presente en el especial realizado por la Revista Shock "Vuelta a Rockombia 2008".

En el mes de Diciembre de 2008 Legacy tiene otro cambio importante en su alineación: Freddy Sarria es incorporado como nuevo baterista de la banda.

En el 2009, Legacy reafirma sus lazos con la banda MISFITS, ensayando y haciendo covers con el baterista de la banda ROBO.

Se repite la participación de Legacy en algunos festivales importantes como el Cali Underground y en Agosto, Gustavo Guerra decide partir de la banda, siendo reemplazado por Jhon Borrero, quien se presenta en la banda en el Halloween de los Muertos 2009 en Bogotá.

En el 2010, Legacy tiene la oportunidad de abrirle los conciertos a dos bandas importantes. En Marzo abre el concierto a los Enterradores de México y en Septiembre a la banda Inglesa THE ADICTS.

El resultado por el momento, son canciones cargadas de sangre, tripas, llantos, zombies y espantos, Líricas basadas en situaciones creadas en la imaginación de LEGACY
